Cases with Adult and Minor Victims by District

What does the data reflect?

This module provides data points from federal human trafficking prosecutions since 2000. Use this module to explore how many cases were filed in each district, whether the case contained adult or minor victims, and whether the case included fictitious victims created in an undercover sting operation. You can filter by the year the case was filed in the court system and by the ages of victims.

The Federal Human Trafficking Report’s findings are not a prevalence estimate of trafficking in the United States, but instead serve as an objective summary of how the federal system holds traffickers accountable for their exploitative conduct. The Report does not capture data from state prosecutions, state civil suits, or human trafficking cases that are not prosecuted.
